Simons have been using Belbin profiling for 15 years.

We believe that it is essential for a person to understand their behaviour, and those of other team members, to allow a team to operate more efficiently. By using Belbin to identify our team roles, we can ensure that we use our strengths to our advantage and that we manage our weaknesses as best we can.

Reports can be generated so that on the first day of a new project, staff can talk to each other about how they operate and can look at their team report to see what their strengths are. When the project has completed we can then debrief to learn how accurate the Belbins were and to ensure the lessons learnt are as a team.
