Mixed Use Scheme Carmarthen

Breathing new life into a town centre is what has been achieved with the St Catherine’s Walk development in Wales.

Working closely with Carmarthenshire County Council, Simons’ brief was to deliver a 275,000 sq ft mixed use, town centre, retail-led development to bring people back into the heart of town. The project included a new 85,000 sq ft Debenhams store, a 16,000 sq ft six screen cinema with a public square, market hall and restaurants, which were quickly occupied by Pizza Express and Frankie & Benny’s.

A 950 space car park constructed over three levels completed the works for this £75m project. Over 20 stores now occupy St Catherine’s Walk bringing people in to work, shop and relax.
