Simons Group's Woodland Trust Tree Planting Day

Simons Group have paid for 1,493 trees to be managed by the Woodland Trust for their entire lifetime.

Despite the weather there were smiles all around and with a phenomenal show of team spirit from everyone, we managed to plant 1,500 trees in just 3 hours - Meaning that we have offset the carbon emissions of our head office from last year. Each tonne of carbon needs 4 trees to be planted and it takes up to 100 years for the the carbon to be fully sequestered as timber.

Here are a few moments throughout the day to share, sent with a huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day possible.
